In order to encourage educators to become more "technology minded", training for the new tools is necessary. Once the specialized technology training has been given, it is vital that the new tools are available for the teachers to use in their classroom. For example, it is not logical for a teacher to receive training on a Promethean Board and then not have access to one until a year (or two) later.

I think this timeline is reachable and would like to see the same thing maybe specialized training on using my Elmo that I have in my classroom. I know I will be one of the last to receive a Promethean Board, so that would be the last type of training that I would like right now. I know it can do way more than what I am using it for.
